Eyr Holistic is a fast-growing Nordic ecommerce group in natural wellness and beauty, operating multiple eight to nine-figure brands including Norse Organics, Frøya Organics, Primal Viking, and Arctic Goddess. Our mission is to free one hundred million people through natural, high-quality products — and we hire for radical ownership, taste, and an obsessive standard of work.
Frøya Organics is building its YouTube channel from the ground up, and we're looking for someone to own it. Not corporate brand films — real storytelling: recipes and natural ingredients, excursions and farm life, Nordic traditions and curiosities, behind-the-scenes and founder stories. The kind of content people watch because they want to, not because it found them in an ad break.
The goal is branded organic content: stories that can stand on their own as genuinely engaging YouTube content, while still feeling unmistakably Frøya and building the brand over time.
You'll film in and around Trondheim with Line, our Head of Brand, as the recurring face on camera, and you'll have a large existing archive of footage from Norway — nature, ingredients, people, trips — to dig into and build stories from. All content is in English for an international audience, with a focus on the US.
This is a role for someone who thinks in episodes and channels, not single videos.
What You'll Own
Ideas: finding the stories, angles and hooks that make people genuinely want to watch
Planning shoots — locations, light scripting and storyboarding where it helps
Filming, on regular production days in Trondheim and Central Norway
Editing: hooks, pacing, structure, the whole storytelling craft
Publishing on YouTube and cutting Shorts from longer pieces for Instagram and other channels
Frøya's existing content archive — curating it, repurposing it, and building complete videos out of footage that already exists
The YouTube channel itself over time: strategy, content planning and growth, working closely with the wider organic team
You'll Thrive If You
Are a storyteller first — you can find something compelling in things that look ordinary
Can balance entertainment and brand: creating content people genuinely want to watch, while naturally weaving Frøya, its products, values and Nordic identity into the story
Understand YouTube as a platform: what makes organic content work, how hooks and retention and pacing keep someone watching, and what it takes to build a channel rather than post videos
Think in longer-form and episodes, not only Reels and TikToks
Generate ideas instead of waiting for a brief, and take them all the way to a finished, published piece
Know the difference between organic content and advertising, and follow trends without letting the work turn generic
Are independent, structured and comfortable with a lot of creative freedom — and with concepts being tested, changed and sometimes dropped
Work well one-on-one with someone in front of the camera: light direction, natural moments, making it feel effortless
Can show us your work. A portfolio matters far more than years of experience or formal education — if you're relatively junior with strong instincts and great examples, we want to hear from you
YouTube experience is a strong advantage, whether it's your own channel, freelance work or work for a brand or creator — but it's not a requirement
Equipment
Ideally you have your own setup: camera, sound and an editing computer good enough for professional YouTube and social content
We're not making cinema. Ideas, storytelling and editing matter far more to us than expensive gear
Logistics
Freelance / contractor, ongoing collaboration with a consistent level of involvement month to month
Based in Trondheim or Central Norway, where most filming happens. Elsewhere in Norway works too if you're comfortable travelling to Trondheim for filming days
Filming days weekly or grouped into larger production days; planning, editing and post-production done independently in between
Exact scope agreed with the right candidate, based on capacity and experience
Portfolio or links to previous video work required with your application
